Thank You for attending the 2024 Seniors Wellness Fair at the Old Mill

Seniors Wellness Fair at the Old Mill, Etobicoke, Ontario

Sunday, October 27, 2024

On Sunday, October 27, 2024, we were proud to co-host (for the second year in a row) the Seniors Wellness Fair. The Fair took place at the historic Old Mill Inn, in a beautiful setting amongst a lovely crowd of community members from near and far. The Fair took place in two rooms, where one room offered a curated selection of 27 local vendors in an exhibition format. Attendees got the chance to meet local businesses serving the elderly community and connect for an informative chat, or to simply share a laugh. This is where we also want to Thank all of You who stopped by our Carebee booth to say Hi or simply register for our Seniors Services Rolodex - it was truly a pleasure meeting all of you and we hope we can help you on your senior living journey through our Member Portal.

We also hosted two speaker sessions, presented by highly qualified professionals. We held a session on physical well-being and exercise as we age, presented by Claudia Ehamparam MScPT CAFCI C/NDT, and a session on Estate Planning, presented by Robert Hurdon CIM, from Bank of Montreal. To learn more about the sessions that took place and the speakers, please click to visit the Fair website.

We saw upwards of 350 community members walk through the doors, for a dynamic and educational day. Nearly half of the attendees also attended a speaker session. The positive energy and laughter rang through the Old Mill halls and we truly hope that everyone had a lovely time at the Fair, like us. We saw families bring their loved ones, multiple generations coming to enjoy a lovely coffee at the Fair and friends take pictures at the on-site photobooth. It was truly a pleasure co-hosting our lovely community and we hope we get to see you online for our future Carebee Member Exclusive Events.

If you have not yet registered for the Carebee Member Portal, please visit www.carebee.ca. Registration is Free, and you will have access to our short educational videos, monthly Member Exclusive Events and our Seniors Services Database (think of it as your yellow pages for senior services, or your online services Rolodex). All in one place - and it’s Free.

Bzzz,

Team Carebee
